So A small break from 30 days of paint as there was no way I was going to complete this bad boy in a day, despite my efforts.
So first I have a few shots of the box and it’s contents. Pretty straight forward, 3 sprues plus a clear plastic sprue and the flights stand. Building the model went off with out a hitch. Very few mold lines to clean on this. I wanted to add the extra dakka of a 3rd suppa shoota plus I liked the look of the bomber wings more so I used the additional bombers parts for my dakka jet. I think this is really what I like about this model. I could make 3 or 4 dakka jets and have them look different. There are a plethora of parts in this kit and if nothing else it will make a great addition to your bitz box.
Once assembly was done I coated the windscreen with MicroMask fluid. It works best if you use at least 2 coats. As I learned the hard way. Another great thing about the orks, it doesn’t especially matter if their canopy glass is clear or not. They’re orks! They don’t care!
So I airbrushed the whole thing with GW tau sept ochre. and then lightened this up to do some slight color modulation on different panels. I picked out some panels with Abbadon black, and the metal areas in leadbelcher. The exhaust by the nose was scorched brown.
I have since washed all the metal parts in Nuln oil, my personal replacement to delvan mud. No pictures of that yet but, they are coming. Tomorrow its weathering time! Actually you might find the weathering process very simillar to the killblasta. I might change it up though. Who knows?

i am enjoying this-now that i know that it is here!
